It was tremendous to meet so many artists at the APRA Connecting Members UK meeting in London on December 14th. Thanks to those brave souls who came out in less than plesant weather – even for the UK – to hear myself and the other speakers.
I almost managed to keep to my alloted time. I’m sure APRA’s UK rep Cathi Ogden forgave me for running over time as I was so keen to ensure the presentation was packed with as much useful info as possible. If you happen to be an Australian music artist working in the UK or Europe and you’ve not connected with Cathi you should sort that out. Cathi is such a great champion for Australian music in this part of the world. She can give no end of assistance with making sure you’re live performance reports get posted – so that you get paid – and she has a wealth of contacts.
So, here is the presentation I gave last night. I’ve posted it here as it was a bit of a challange making notes in such a short space of time.
